Over my 8 years at Constellation, I’ve had the opportunity to work with teams focused on both early stage discovery research as well as clinical stage translational research. This has given me such a wonderful learning experience and really allowed me to see the whole process of drug discovery up close. While our company has evolved significantly in the time I have been here, the constants for me have always been the dedicated colleagues I get to work with every day, many who have become close friends and mentors, and the science that continues to be interesting, challenging, and motivated by the unmet needs of patients.

Thanks to my Constellation family for their warmth and kindness. I feel welcomed since day one and proud to be part of this star team working passionately to help the patients. My two years at Constellation has been an incredible journey both personally and professionally. I am looking forward to what comes ahead working with amazing people thriving for success.

Upon joining Constellation partway through 2017 I was immediately impressed by the collaborative nature by which people and departments work with each other towards a common goal. I am lucky enough to get to support these teams in their fight against cancer and build a culture where we can have some fun along the way. I look forward to the many successes the future holds for this company.

From the moment I arrived at Constellation I felt an immediate sense of community and a strong passion towards our research. In the time since then this extraordinary sense of collaboration, determination, and passion has continued to manifest itself each and every day as all functional groups work together towards achieving amazing milestones. I am proud to be a Constellationite!

One of my favorite things about working at CPI is the ability for everyone to work together and learn from each other in order to help drive the company’s science forward. It’s been really fun and exciting to see how an integrated team of both scientists and non-scientists can collaborate and teach each other in order to better target and execute on our scientific pursuits in an effort to serve unmet patient needs. In addition to this, what’s made CPI a truly great place to work is not just how much everyone cares about each other, but also about everyone’s families. The focus here on meeting unmet patient needs is equally matched by an emphasis on allowing people to focus on their families. This dual focus makes it truly a privilege to work here!

Listening, learning, and subsequently teaching are some of the most important responsibilities I believe I have in my role here at Constellation. It is amazing to be a part of a company where there is a single-mindedness in our approach to advancing our clinical trials, which ultimately benefit patients. The level of collaboration and innovative thinking that can be seen across departments, teams, and individuals on a day-to-day basis is refreshing. The amount of professional and personal growth Constellation has allowed me has been invaluable. It determines how I attack each day. Cancer is ugly and the fight against it is bigger than any one person or company, but together if we each do our part, to the very best of our abilities, our chances for success become that much better. I am proud to be a part of this team, tirelessly striving for success.

I have spent 9 years at Constellation and have worked with many wonderful people in all areas of the company. As one of the few non-scientists, my appreciation for the work they do increases every day.

I think the single thing I like best at Constellation is our ability to move quickly. By having a dedicated and focused team where everyone is on a first name basis we can come to decisions in a timely manner, directing resources to maximally impact the science and, ultimately, patients’ lives and well-being. Having come here at the midpoint of my career I recognize this is not universal but something that makes Constellation a great place to work.

I have spent many years working in biotech companies and the great ones all have something in common – Hardworking, talented people committed to their work and to each other. I like being a part of the CPI team doing what I can to help move the science forward. The people here are like my family and coming to work each day keeps me engaged and contributing to something great.

When I joined Constellation, the company was still in the process of being built and the excitement and energy was palpable in our space on Sidney Street. This was my first experience in industry and I was very excited to be part of the extraordinary experience of the early days of a start-up company. The infectious enthusiasm for what we are trying to accomplish has not wavered over the years as we have moved programs forward from ideas into the clinic to treat patients. I am honored to work with such dedicated, caring and fun people. While our company looks very different from 2008, the dedication and passion for what we are doing is unchanged and is the reason why I still love working here with this great group of people.
